These rankings will be updated each Monday throughout the year. Enjoy!!
1. USC (3-0)
Another easy victory for the Trojans. It’s becoming more and more evident USC won’t be challenged until Nov 27 at Eugene.
2. LSU (4-0)
Les Miles looked like the Ole Ball Coach with that fake field goal that sent LSU up for good, late in the second quarter. I’ll also add in; LSU’s defense is scary good.
3. West Virginia (4-0)
The Mountaineers enter the meat of its schedule, starting with a trip to South Florida this week. Win that and there’s only two games standing between WVU and an undefeated season.
4. Oklahoma (4-0)
The Sooners continue to impress me with all their weapons on offense. Who averages 61.5 points per game after four games? I can’t even do that on PS3.
5. Florida (4-0)
No worries about the Gators lackadaisical performance at Ole Miss. They, like everyone else, were more concerned about their four remaining road games; at LSU, Kentucky, Georgia and South Carolina. Yikes!
6. California (4-0)
It was evident Cal didn’t forget about last year’s loss to UA. This week at Oregon will show how good this Bears team really is.
7. Texas (4-0)
Finally, an easy victory for the Longhorns. The Red-River Shoot-out is a mere two weeks away. Whoopee!
8. Boston College (4-0)
Does anyone else thing BC can run the table? Their toughest games left are at Virginia Tech and at Clemson. Stranger things have happened.
9. Wisconsin (4-0)
Not the overwhelming performance I was hoping for, but a win is a win. I still think the Big 10 title will be decided when Michigan comes a knocking to Madison in mid-November.
10. Oregon (4-0)
This could be the year of the Duck as they get both Cal and USC at home. The question remains if they can deliver.
The rest of the best…
