The NFL Pre-season picks can certainly be a challenge, especially in week #1, as teams look to play their veterans sparingly while looking for the next great player when 2nd, 3rd, and 4th stringers get some playing time. This can certainly be the opportunity that you need to win knowing what second tier players have a bit more talent than the other teams same backups. Another factor that has even more bearing is whether or not a coach really cares about the win or just assessing his players. So with all of this in mind and the first full week of pre-season picks upon us let's take a look at some of the most recent winners and losers ATS:

The Winners

Arizona (5-2); Buffalo (5-0); Carolina (6-1); Chicago (6-3); Denver (6-2); New England (5-1); Seattle(4-1).

The Losers

Detroit (3-7); Green Bay (2-5); New Orleans (1-6); Philadelphia 0-4); San Diego (1-6).

Although there are certainly more factors than just ATS performance this will give you a good basis on which to start your handicapping for week #1 of NFL Pre-Season picks.
