The Titans have been an excellent offensive team in the preseason the past two years, averaging 27.2 points during their past five games with total scores of 51, 45, 44, 47, and 33 points for an average total score of 44.0 points per game.

Tonight’s game should once again be high-scoring as both teams plan on playing their starting offensive units into the third quarter. Tennessee has an experienced QB rotation with Vince Young and Kerry Collins playing the majority of the game, plus young QB Ingle Martin has looked solid with a 91.5 QB rating this preseason.

The Falcons have been a motivated team under first-year head coach Mike Smith and they should put forth another strong effort at home this week. They will also look to throw the ball often as rookie QB Matt Ryan gets the start, and will be followed by Joey Harrington and Chris Redman who both having starting experience in the NFL.
